JC's Girls Swim team won their first conference championship since 2000, besting Catholic High and Annapolis Area Christian on their way to a C Conference crown. The Patriots notched key victories in several events including the 200 free relay, swam by Grace Griffin '23, Kaylie Wolf '23, Sara Chhun '25 and Eleanor Hughes '25, and the 200 medley relay, swam by Mackenzie Hopkins '23, Tori Novak '23, Annie Bennett '24 and Ginger Roarty '24. The John Carroll swim team enjoyed a successful first half of their 2021-22 season and appear poised to make some noise coming out of the winter break.

Head coach Jessica Jelen-Joy, in her second year at the helm of the program is optimistic for positive results on the horizon. "The team is excited to be back into a full season after a short 5-week season last winter," said Jelen-Joy. "I am excited to see the successes of our team throughout this year and to see the growth of our young swimmers as we go into the second half of the season."
